Project Breakdown
I joined 'Move, Move, Melon!!' 3 months before the publishing date as a Contract Animator. This meant I had to achieve 2 goals:
(1.) Quickly adapt to existing animation style and collaborative environment.
(2.) Efficiently deliver animation assets on a timely manner in order to meet project deadlines.
Communication and feedback was key to succeeding these goals. Each week, I tackled new animations-- different characters, context, and more. Setting myself up to succeed, I asked questions in order to understand the assignment:
Who is this character? What are the design metrics? Which animations can come before or after?
Consistently, I sent my progress after blocking to receive the team's feedback.
